Welcome to St. James Academy!

We are a new Catholic high school in western Lenexa, part of the Archdiocese of Kansas City, KS. Enrollment is now open for all grades, freshmen through seniors. Our school focuses heavily on showing students that it is important to be strong in their faith and successful in school. We strongly adhere to the four pillars of our faith and strive to be One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic school.

2010 Johnson County Catholic High School Fairs

All middle-school students and their parents are invited join students and administrators from all three Johnson County Catholic High Schools, to discuss education options in our area. Come to any location on the date, which best fits your family’s schedule. Watch your school newsletter and/or parish bulletin for specific time as well. This is your opportunity to collect all the details you need to make an informed high school choice.

Shadows

It is recommended that 8th graders choose a shadow day when they do not have school. Please see '8th Graders' tab under 'Admissions' on the website for dates. Shadow registration begins the end of August. Click calendar to the right to register.

What's Next

For 8th graders in the 2009-10 school year, take your time discerning the prestigious high schools in our area. Follow our Enrollment Timeline, mark your calendar to attend St. James Academy’s Open House and 8th grade sports nights (dates to be announced). Come for a shadow visit and be prepared to ask your Student Ambassador a wide range of questions about being a student at St. James Academy, what they like and dislike, how you can prepare for high school while you’re still in 8th grade.
