What's Next
For 8th graders in the 2011-12 school year, take your time discerning the prestigious high schools in our area. Start by visiting High School Fairs at the parish most convenient for you (see the dates and locations listed above). The fairs include representatives from all three Johnson County Catholic High Schools; they are available to help families discern the high school options in this area.
Follow St. James Academy's Enrollment Timeline, mark your calendar to attend St. James Academy’s Open House and 8th grade sports nights. Come for a shadow visit and be prepared to ask your Student Ambassador a wide range of questions about being a student at St. James Academy, what they like and dislike, and how you can prepare for high school while you’re still in 8th grade.

Dear parents:
Getting ready for high school should be a rewarding and exciting experience. Northeast Kansans are very lucky that so many Catholic high schools are available for consideration. St. James Academy is the newest Archdiocesan high school option deserving your attention.
Just for parents of 7th and 8th graders, we offer a program called “Parent Information Night”, planned for two different dates in the Fall.
The agenda includes: an overview of St. James Academy’s accomplishments thus far; anticipated growth; an outline of the faith formation curriculum; details on the academic policies at St. James Academy; tuition and fees structure; and testimonials from parents of current students. A question and answer session will conclude the evening. There will be opportunities for shadow scheduling, and introductions to the administration.
Please plan to participate. Attendance by your student is optional. Call (913)254-4200 for additional information.
Sincerely, Karen Maginn Development & Recruiting Dir.
