Focus on Academics

St. James Academy espouses the belief that all students can learn and excel with proper guidance, spiritual support and an environment where they feel comfortable sharing and exploring their talents, knowledge and faith.

Our Spiritual Connection

Our chapel is an ever present reminder to all that enter our front door that they and the Eucharist are the center of our lives. Students can attend daily mass, and quiet time in prayer and reflection and participate in all school liturgical services. Theology class will allow our students to learn and defend their faith, they will learn history and traditions of our faith and how to make our faith a part of our daily life.

Academic Offerings

St James Academy offers basic required courses such as Math, English, Science, Foreign Language, and Theology as well as electives. Students who qualify may take advantage of advanced or college-credit level courses in their junior or senior year.

Collaborative Learning Environment

The flexible learning space design or our building allows students to explore methods of learning such as lecture, discussion, hands-on projects and individual lessons. All of these are important and can be maximized because of our innovative building design. The advantage of our flexible learning space encourages student interaction and stimulates creativity.
