Honor Classes and Honor Roll

Honors Classes Students who enroll in honors courses are expected to complete additional work outside of the classroom. In addition, it is assumed that the caliber and the depth of work completed will be of higher quality than in a regular course. Students who earn a 77% or above in an honors course will receive an additional five (5) percentage points figured each semester. The points are added during the calculation of cumulative GPA.

The Honor Roll is published each semester using the semester grades and based upon the following:

First Honors: Grade average of 96% or above with no grade lower than 90% and no incompletes.
Second Honors: Grade average of 90%-95.99% with no grades lower than 85% and no incompletes.
