Treat America

We at Treat America hope your student is enjoying their lunches with us at the Thunder Cafe. As we are settling into our schol year, we have some information for you and would like to request some information from you in return.By now, you are probably aware that there are multiple ways to pay for your student's lunch. They can pay with cash as they proceed through the lunch line or they can deposit money into their account and use their lunch card as they go through the line. There are two ways to deposit money into their account, either online by clicking on the link below or by paying us with cash or check which we would then enter into the computer/cash register here at the cafe. We will keep your child informed as to how much money remains on their account, and if they are close to reaching zero, we will remind them to deposit more money. If the balance gets to be $5.00, we print up a letter that we send with the student to take home. We are aware, however, that some students will forget their letter in their locker or in their pocket, and that you never receive the information. Therefore, we are requesting that you give us an email address that we can send a friendly reminder to, if the lunch balance gets close to zero, or moves into the negative range.If your student has a balance of $5.00 or less, please be aware that they will receive a "basic" lunch of a peanut butter and jelly sandwich and a carton of milk until the account is brought current. We understand the importance of a balanced lunch, and do not want your child to be hungry in the afternoon if they are unable to purchase a lunch, but also don't want them to incur more of a negative balance than they already have.If you have any questions, please contact either one of us at treatamerica@sjakeepingfaith.org or 254-4267. Replacement Lunch Swipe Cards

Every student who has an account MUST have a swipe card to purchase any items in the cafeteria. Anyone who does not have a swipe card to purchase their lunch will be charged $5.00 for a replacement card. Your account will be charged $5.00 and you may pick up your new card the next day.

Overdrawn Lunch Accounts

Any student whose account has a NEGATIVE BALANCE at the end of the month will be charged a $5.00 service charge. This charge will be applied to your account on the first day of the following month. Please be repsonsible and keep a positive account balance!
