SJA soccer community: We played Piper tonight in the first game in our road to state and won 8-0. A lot of players got in on the action, and we were able to rest some as well. A lot of good things happened...we dominated early and created opportunities early and often, although with the shots we had on goal, should have probably ended the game early. Piper has some nice players and a nice coach, who I observed kept coaching and teaching, even in the midst of losing badly. This leadership and seemingly a number of younger players bodes well for their future. Round 2 tomorrow at Gardner Edgerton against Garnder Edgerton, 4:30 p.m...hope to see you there!
