Faith Announcements

We are a community that is so blessed with faith filled families, faculty and staff that are Christ centered as well as a full time chaplain available to administer the sacraments.  Because of these great blessings, we are always looking at ways to deepen our Catholic identity and develop a culture rich with tradition.  With a growing population, such as ours, and the emphasis put on our students to grow in independence, it is important that we find ways to connect our students, families and staff.  We are excited that we are able to develop a new tradition that we believe will support out Catholic identity, connect parents and teens as well as give aprents a chance to meet one another.

Adoration in 2009

Beginning second semester, weekly adoration will be moved to Fridays in order to better accommodate teacher and parent schedules. Adoration will run from 8:15am-3:00pm on each Friday that we have school (excluding All School Serve Day and Field Day). Please consider signing up for a weekly commitment. Whether you can come for 15 minutes or have been yearning for a Holy Hour each week, you are welcome in the Pope John Paul II Chapel at St. James Academy. Please stop by any Friday or contact Anne Marie Martin to indicate your weekly commitment.

Monsignor Burger
Chaplain

Terri O’Neill
Administrative Assistant

At St. James Academy, we believe that educating our staff, students, and school families in the teachings of the church and creating an environment where praying together and sharing our faith experiences is not only acceptable, but the norm. We create an environment for young people and the wider community to grow closer to the heart of Christ.
