Development

Student tuition constitutes approximately 75 percent of the cost to educate a student at St. James Academy. Thanks to the generosity of our parishes, another 7-10% is covered by parish subsidy. The Development Office is responsible for acquiring additional resources which keep tuition lower and provide financial assistance to students in need. Two primary sources include fundraising at our auction in October and the annual appeal, what we now call the "Make a Difference Appeal".

The Make a Difference Appeal launches May 1 this year. Its purpose is to supplement the annual operations budget. Assist the revenue stream of the school by joining with other parents to cover the gap between the actual cost to educate a student and the actual amount paid per student.
