Coach Weitz enters his fourth season as the Track coach at St. James Academy.  Coach Weitz is a member of the coaching staff for the women’s basketball program.  Coach Weitz is in his fourth year as an Algebra teacher at St. James.  He previously was teacher and coach at Holy Cross School in Overland Park.  While at Holy Cross, he taught 6^th grade and served as middle school basketball and track coach, as well as Athletic Director.

Before teaching and coaching at Holy Cross, Coach Weitz was a middle school football and basketball coach at Washington Jr. High in Dubuque, IA.  Coach Weitz also worked at the Loras College All-Sports Camp in Dubuque where he worked as a counselor and an instructor in basketball, track and tennis.

Coach Weitz attended the University of Northern Iowa in Cedar Falls.  He later went on to receive his Master’s in School Leadership from Baker University.  Prior to that Coach Weitz attended Dubuque Wahlert High School where he participated in football, track and basketball.
